Tuesdy is another Monday

Easter was nice, saw the family, discovered a very good wine (Piesporter Michelsberg), knitted a Charity Bears, knitted on my evening shell. Drove home from Omaha with no incidences save a raging headache from a very stiff neck by time I got home.

Monday was filled with endless paperwork and wayyy to many "to do's" for the studio as Newsletter/statement day often is... nice part of day was when DD treated me to a cup of Cappachino Chunky Chocolate from Braums where she has begun working.... enjoyed it while watching Vegas and Medium taped from earlier in the evening. Worked on the 2nd charity bear. My goal is 20 of them. I have lots of scrap yarn, so they will be colorful.

Today I'm printing the photo schedule, trying to repair two costumes, wrestling with the competition schedule which really isn't too bad except for one dancer with conflicts with the school play...I don't know why these drama teachers don't consult me when they schedule things. (ha, don't they know I am the Queen and all things revolve around moi?) Got to go buy more paper to print stuff on, thread to replace the spool that disappeared, and drop a tiny deposit off at the bank to stave off checks bouncing. Broker than I thought but oh well... that's the way it goes I guess. Tonight I'll knit on the socking cap as I need to finish that up and be done with it.

Frank

Road Trip

Off to Omaha today with DD for a quick trip Easter trip to see my family. Always nice and always much too short a visit.

Started the Evening Top in Stahl Glamour yesterday, got nearly 6" knit on the back, plus 10 rows of lace on the Cascading Leaves sock... nice to have extra time to knit!

Newly adopted cat Frank Sincatra has demonstrated he knows how to use a litter box and seems more resigned to staying in at night...now if little Minnie Mouse would just stop hissing at him all would be well!

Mary's Valentine Socks
These Socks were made for my friend Mary as a Valentine Surprise. She was surprised and she loved them.

Dreary Day

Hi all - it's a Dreary Day in Kansas. .... grey, rainy, with a promise of a storm coming in... a day to do laundry, pack for the Easter Trip and knit..... might not be so bad after all! Finished painting my prop ladders for my dancer studio, so all I have to do today is work on the chiffon strips for the ladders (I know, I know, another crazy prop!) and knit. Finally going to let myself start on the Evening Shell in Stahl Glamour from www.elann.com . Finished 1st sock of Jeanne Townsends Cascading Leaves, got the ribbing done of the 2nd sock... no SSS for me!
